SAT Preparation
Comprehensive SAT test preparation covering all tested mathematics, reading, and writing skills with strategy, practice, and error analysis.
Who This Is For
High school students (and advanced 8th graders) preparing for the digital SAT, including students who want score improvement, structured prep with accountability, or advanced training for competitive college admissions. Best fit for students who can already handle algebra II and read at grade level. Students still missing foundations should start in Pre-SAT first; we'll tell you which.
Course Content
The course covers every SAT topic with a clear sequence: foundations review → digital SAT module structure → strategy → timed practice → mock → review. Math runs through algebra, advanced math, problem-solving and data analysis, and geometry/trigonometry. Reading and writing covers craft and structure, information and ideas, expression of ideas, and standard English conventions. Mock tests are administered in real digital-SAT timing, and the post-mock review session is where most score growth actually happens.
How ToIvy Teaches This
Score growth on the SAT is driven by two things: (1) closing the specific knowledge gaps that cause repeated wrong answers, and (2) being calm and fast enough on test day. We track both. Every student gets a personalized weak-area report after each mock and a clear set of practice problems targeted at their gaps, not 'do another practice test and hope.'
Class Format & Structure
Group classes meet once a week on a weekend during the school year: 90 minutes of math + 90 minutes of ELA (3 hours total), plus an intensive summer block. Six full-length mocks across the program. Every mock is followed by a dedicated review session walking through every wrong answer.

Questions Parents Ask Us
How much can my child realistically improve?
Depends on starting score and time available. Most students gain 100–250 points over a full prep cycle. We'll give you a realistic target after the first mock.
When should we start?
Most strong candidates start the summer before junior year. Earlier is fine if foundations are there. We don't recommend starting fewer than 4 months out from a serious test date.
Group class or 1-on-1?
Group works for the majority, the structure, peer pacing, and lower cost are real advantages. We'll recommend 1-on-1 only when the diagnostic shows it's actually needed.
